  • Conduct training needs assessment with clients to determine training needs and delivery methods.

  • Assist with the design of training programs, including drafting course storyboards, scripting instructional activities and events, producing instructor and participant manuals, final production of course visuals, and evaluating training results.

  • Design and develop online versions of classroom courses using a variety of authoring tools and techniques, including Articulate, MS PowerPoint, and Adobe Flash, Dreamweaver and Photoshop.
  • Manage projects from initiation to close-out, including communication of project updates to teams, clients and CCFL staff, and delivery of drafts and final products.

  • Collaborated with Boyce Thompson Institute for Plant Research staff to develop educational software based on current research in plant science and the scientific method.
  • Co-designed an interactive multimedia CD-ROM program entitled IMPACT: Interactive Models of Plants to Augment Classroom Teaching; developed project storyboards, structural flowcharts, and graphics, including original watercolor designs.

The Women's Community Building, Ithaca, NY
October 1996 - April 1998 {graduate student consultant}
   

  • Designed and developed a community awareness video featuring Rita Anita Linger for the Women's Community Building and the Capstone Seminar utilizing the Media 100 digital non-linear editing system.
  • Co-designed, developed, and presented a performance intervention based on analysis of and research into the organizational structures and constituencies involved.
  • Provided Web site design assistance and designed a brochure describing services available at the WCB for general distribution.
